Vera House White Ribbon Campaign
Vera House is a local community organization that has the mission to end all domestic and sexual violence, to assist families in crisis and support those affected by domestic and sexual violence & to promote a culture of equality and respect in relationships. A primary fund raiser for Vera House each year is the White Ribbon Campaign. By wearing a white ribbon during the campaign, you join thousands of your friends & neighbors in this pledge: “I will never condone, support or commit domestic or sexual violence”. This year marks the 20th annual White Ribbon Campaign. Look for the Deacon’s selling ribbons, pins, wrist bands and new this year… candy bars(!) in the narthex on Sunday April 6 and 13. Your donations will go directly to Vera House to support the many programs they provide in our community.
